Hello again. I'm in search of the Everyman pdf for April 19. I'm counting on your special knowledge to help.

Thanks for sending this. I opened it once then later it wouldn't.
Does anyone have the slowdownwiseup link to the pdf?

Try the link again using an incognito/private window maybe? Meanwhile

Didn't like the clueing much for the last 4 across clues. Couldn't really figure out what was going on. Currently starting at 1 ac with 2 out of 4 letters, (can't be that hard, surely) and 23a which I'm guessing is a General Knowledge gap on my part. Will come back to them later.

Does anyone else think they have a clash between 1a and 1d?
The novel in 23a took me a while to track down. 12a was my last in.

As the puzzle appears, I have 1a and 22d the same entry. I’m guessing 1a was meant to be changed, but the clue didn’t change.

I didn’t have any trouble with 23a, but the novel is American, so maybe that gave me the advantage.

Good day. Also stuck on 1a and 23a.

1d is a straight anagram so I've got the first letter of 1a. Also got the third letter of 1a from 2d, (also an anagram of one word in the clue plus a thank you) but have no idea about 2nd and 4th.

As for 23a. No idea and searching has been fruitless.

But, rest of the grid. Some clunky clues I think but I liked the rhyming pair, one of which gets my CoD - 20a. And the spoonerism was fun.

Hints welcome, but will return to the forum later.

Darla - is there anything cryptic about 23a?

Beret - hat or cap for the third word?

Any anagram or hidden?
