I do enjoy these holiday specials, even if they take a few days to finish.
However, I can't get 61a 'upset priest starts to use red language ' (4), for which I have P__L.
And I can't parse "Five years' distinction", which I believe has to be lustre, given available starts and ends, although I might have got that wrong.

61a - single letter "priest" then the "starts" to 'use', rude' and 'language' - definition is "upset" as in go head over heels (not a common word)


"Five years distinction" - your answer is correct, it's a double definition meaning both "five years" and "distinction" - both definitions are in Chambers.

Thanks Brendan I did get 61, but only found the knitting ref.
Didn't know about 5 years though.
