I found this a little easier than usual. I got off to a good start as I managed to solve the first across clue immediately. Slowed down a bit after that though.

Definitely an easier ride . Fed is not a compiler I know ,took a while to get on his wavelength then enjoyed the challenge .

I am always reluctant to comment on parsing or clues being very aware that compiling is quite beyond my capabilities but I did find some clues and parsing rather complicated — eg 11.
Plus point managed to finish without help from forum.

PS I do know Deborah , one of my favourite programmes.

Hi forum. Very occasional visitor here. Can someone explain the parsing for 13ac? I’m sure I have the right answer but as I’m currently parsing it, the first bit of the wordplay seems unfair - lacking - and the second part of the wordplay involves a convention I’ve never met before. It’s my LOI.

Hi Gamma,
The first two letters are alternate letters from a word in the clue. Then it’s one letter for American inside (cuts) a 4 letter word for “with it” (in a fashion sense).

2 letters from sabre, then A(merican) in a word (loosely) for "with it"

Hi everyone

My sister was visiting yesterday, so no time to concentrate on the crossword. I glanced at some clues and got 10ac straight away, but no others.

I've lots to do today, so I don't think I'll bother trying any more. Hoping for an easier one next week.
