The title plus the first clue gives the familiar bit which people could recognise. But as others have said, the clever bit is that it then runs through all the other clues.

I checked all the way through and, as expected, all correct. Quite an achievement!

I have the grid and instruction from the 3rd letters. But I just cannot see the next step, even following the hints above. Feeling rather dense. Any nudges would be most appreciated.

Put the title in front of the first clue then concentrate on the last two words of the hidden message. That will hopefully produce something that looks vaguely familiar. If not try putting the first 10 of what you get into Google and that should do it.
