well I've had the grid filled for some time now and drawn countless diagrams and I've got it to spell a ragged S but don't like it much ... I assume we have to start anti-clockwise otherwise we would be exiting at the first L ...

@Jono - check the instruction from the initial letters of the discarded clue words. Should help!

@ilippu - the turtle doesn't care about blocks or lights in the grid - it'll just keep going until it finds an "R" or an "L".

The choice of a turtle may be related to “turtle graphics”.
