sealionsteve - I had the same. I didn't tick the box but the second time I pressed the button it created my account.

Good puzzle but I'm seriously fed up of clues that start with the word "Primarily...."

The capital is currency rather than metropolitan.

I don't mind paying or signing up for it but agree that the price makes no sense, even for Azed. The UI really is awful.

I heard years ago that the old Grauniad crossword UI programmer - sadly died in a car crash and took all knowledge with him. No-one could work it out and it took them years to replace it.

Registered, did not tick box, no subscription, everything worked fine. Hopefully it will now stop forgetting partially filled grids.

Thought this one was a good standard - less tricky than recently and without obscure americanisms.
