Could someone help me out with the down clue starting "She sculpted..."? I'm assuming it's someone's name, and if so then no one I've heard of

It isn’t actually a name. There is a two-letter abbreviation for Latin “he/she sculpted” (in Bradford’s) which when put in front of the answer gives something sacred to them

Hi everyone, I've been gratefully using your hints for a few months but only just signed up!

I've worked out the answers for the top left corner but I can't seem to determine where to put them. Can't get the answers to fit together. It says bars and numbers not required, but there must be black cells?

Am I missing something really obvious?
