The clues...
Requests for help should normally include the clue itself, the number of letters in the answer, and details of any you already have. Any special instructions or additional information, common in Listener puzzles, should also be included.
Hints only, please, no answers.

The theme...
Requests for help may also be sought here. The help given should be fairly gentle in nature - aim for just a nudge, a pointer in the right direction. Avoid anything that could spoil the puzzle for others.
If you feel too much has been revealed, please get in touch with the site administrator - email her at Norah.evoluted@aol.com. Norah errs on the side of caution, so anything at all 'iffy' is likely to be removed.

The Listener is a unique puzzle and should be treated with respect.

Having witnessed this decades ago, and not since, I’m grateful to wiki for the details. However that source gives no guidance about the entry representing A in motion, unless it’s an adverb. No other entry seems relevant. Nice puzzle though.

Nice puzzle; I was helped by my very detailed, not to say obsessive, familiarity with the source material. Hung up for a moment on applying the song title to three cells, but it all works. Thanks Horntail.

Wiki tells you what you need to know. Think more laterally

jockie, interpret "in motion" as you would in any cryptic clue.

Of course! I didn't’ think it actually went backwards.

That was a good puzzle.

It took me longer than it should have done to find the unch in 31D and to understand the three-cell reference, but those were examples of me being slow.

Thanks, Hornbeam.

VERY familiar position for me. I've got (A),(B) & (C) + the song title. Just flummoxed by both the end game and the unch in 31D at the moment.

Worth looking at the unclued, thematic, 9D.

The clue direction is non-arbitrary.

Buddy, I too am puzzled about the three cells, but I now have the structure and the replacement for (B), still working on the entry representing A in motion. The unch still eludes me.
