21a - think what you do to your clothese with the first 4 letters of the answer and, remember, in this instance 'evbening' is a verb:-)

I took a while to parse this because I kept overlooking the sign immediately following the colon, meaning I couldn't see where the wordplay for the first 2 words came from.
