Could anyone give me a hint for 22d please? I found all the rest easier than normal this week.

22d is hidden. The "do" doesn't refer to a party!

I had the second word of 24a wrong which was what had me stuck - I’d been thinking generic rather than specific there. Still can’t fully parse 24 but am now happy I’ve got all the answers.
