Really, Chris? Each to their own. I enjoyed the literalness of the second half of the clue. Which regular crossworder wouldn't look at 'home' and think, 'Ah, the answer must include 'in' somewhere'? Then try to figure out what to do with 'moss'. So, when the penny dropped that you're just looking for something that actually does make a home out of moss, I thought, 'Brilliant.'

Very much enjoyed today's offering. I agree with Phil about 10a. Also enjoyed 11a, which made me laugh.

I too didn't getter the second definition of 2d until coming on here (and that's not because of my gender!) LOI was 21d - was convinced that 'loud' meant there'd be an F in there.

Phil10000 - 10a not being an experienced crossworder I didn’t automatically think ‘in’ but I will now!! I liked this clue.

Im stuck on 10a. Its my last one so I think my cross letters are correct although I can’t parse 7d to my satisfaction. Any help?

Ah! Just figured it out. I did have a single letter wrong on 7d but it made no difference. I was just a bit slow on 10.

In 1ac, the answer is clear from the crossers but I have no idea about the first part of the clue.
Clobber? Team?
I'd like to know.
. The hint here about Moss was a very good one. Thanks.

Clobber can refer to what you are wearing. No idea why!
