11a - Where I can be seen in converslon course (6) A?TE?S

There's only a handful of words that fit the letter pattern but I can't really make a case for any of them with, perhaps, the exception of a synonym for 'modifies' or 'makes different', but that doesn't account for the "where I can be seen" part off the clue.

Brendan, your letters are correct. Def. is "course". In the word "conversion", where does the "I" come?

I thought this was very good.

Gemelo (Spanish for twin) is the setter aka Twin of course, maintaining the Spanish naming convention following Ximenes, Torquemada and Deza (Azed).

Many thanks, jono. Time to access a new setter's way of thinking.

Seems the Observer interactive puzzle site is down, perhaps they are making changes.

You're right Jono, I went back to see if the Everyman was up yet but just got a 'comes back later' message.
