Hi Nicola,
I generally find when printing a pdf that if I increase the print size to around 126% it prints as large as can be achieved on an A4 sheet.

On the subject of times, last week it tells me I did it in 9m 34s, today 5 and a half hours… I may have fallen asleep!

No I've just realised I did last week's puzzle! But it was the puzzle served to me by going to observer.co.uk/everyman as I usually do (though did not do last week, hence not recognising the crossword as an old one).

Ah, well, I get to do two Everymans (Everymen?) this morning.

Perhaps this needs to be fixed? (Though it's easy enough to find the correct puzzle via the menu.)

Morning, all.
Well, I'm finding this challenging but enjoyable. 13D raised a smile with its Northern feature.
But I'm stuck in the NW. Despite the hints, I can't get 1, 9 or 14A, or 1 or 3D.
Further hints welcome

Hi Barry,

20d - look closely at the letters of 'integral' and'triangle' and you should get it.

25a - sinle letter "fine" then first 5 letters of 6 letter "Ice T" perhaps (think music)

1d - the first word is an instruction of how you say the second word for a "toast"

Definitely at the harder end. Fairly confident all is correct, but biffed quite a few for slow parsing afterwards though. I still can't figure out the parsing of 5d and 13d though if anyone can enlighten me? Thank you!

Hi Tom,

5d - In order to see 5d's most famous work one would definitely have "to look up"

13d - 5 letter "consumes" (as one might a pint of beer) + 1 letter "in the noerth the" then a 5 letter "fish" minus its first letter/'headless'
