Brendan, by coincidence I tried to work Adam Ant (+ LP for record) into a clue for this week's WPR (PLANT), but couldn't come up with a decent one. No place for Eve, though. ;-)

Post #11 is rather odd, looks like an advert.

Almost there but 3d fails me, a hint would be welcome.

A good Everyman so far.

Got it. PDM. Second word had me stumped and had struggled with 1a and 16a crossers.

9a takes me back to a track from DEVO in the eighties. They are from ????

What's round at the ends and ?? In the middle, as the song goes.

Fun today, wishing you all a good one.

Yevrah @ 14 (hopefully @ 13 when spam post has been deleted) - not only an advert, but one for a dodgy-sounding "service"! It's been reported.

Agree with Brendan, don't get 25a either

25a parses 5,2,3. The 3 is a two letter acronym pluralised.

It took me forever to parse 25a. When the final 3 letters penny finally dropped, couldn't help thinking 'they're out of this world' would be a better option in the clue. After all, 'they' don't have to come (or go) anywhere.

I don’t understand 5d. It seems a reversal of a normal phrase, but I have never heard it in this order

It's used that way round as an adjective
