Assuming the answer is 'middlemaRch', in terms of fairness, I'd say a lot depends on the exact wording of the preamble. If it suggests that all the answers are literary works by George Eliot, then that's fine. However, if it just says that all answers are works of literature, or something equally vague, then that is way beyond the pale IMO.

Pretty sure the biological term is obligate carnivore and afaik unlike many carnivores cats can get no nutrition from plant material. Dogs, it would appear, are not obligate carnivores.
