There have been a lot of complaints about accessing the digital version, but that hasn't helped me solve this difficult puzzle. I can't get into the bottom left hand corner, can't get22D despite having 2 of the 4 letters and don't understand 1A!

"Escaping from trap" is truly brilliant. I kept thinking the "trap" was NOOSE and the clue was wrong! Not until mulling barry's query did the penny drop.

Hi Helen,
Think of 1a as 2,2,3,3 the last 3 is an animal home, but so is the whole thing, hence “again!”
