Enjoyed this one….7d made me laugh as I was misdirected for ages until the PDM and recall seeing the def before. 3d also took me ages and didnt see the parse until I put it in but enjoyed that clue…..I still cant fully parse the last four letters of 19d…..

Hi Tony, those four letters are an anagram (sadly) of ‘on’ from the clue and two first letters

My last one is 14a but I am struggling to make sense of any of the words that can fit. Please could someone put me out of my misery.

14: defn "beach", parses as 4 (anag of "case"), 4 ("drier", word I see only in crosswords)

I found this to be very entertaining, fair, and (possibly excluding the unsolved three I will mention below) devoid of bad clues - for a welcome change.

7D completely baffles me - Wiki is no help at all.
24A is hiding there somewhere but why is he hairy?
24D - OMG, I've got no clue whatsover, although of course I can think of a girl's name that fits.
