Hi Pauly,
7 parses 3,2. You need to separate ‘star/sailor’
27 is all read in reverse, parsing 2,5,2

"Some solutions may be entered backwards"... in other words you've got to solve all the clues without crossers and then figure out how to enter them?
I'm happy for those that found this easy but I'm just not even going to bother.
See you next week, if I get stuck.
Good luck.

That worried me at first, but it isn't as hard as it sounds.

It suggests a theme which ever way you look at it.

Don't want to make an obvious spoiler.

Good to see you on the helpline, Hamish - and congrats on another excellent solve - and I note 28 is part of the original palindrome I heard of when I started to read ....

28 is what gave me the theme. Easy clue, so got it early, which helped with the puzzle overall.

I'd really like 13a to be a themed solution as I have the perfect answer! But if it is, I can't make any word fit 5d. I only have these two left to solve. Any hints, anyone?
