I started grid-filling just now and unsurprisingly found a few spelling errors in the themed ones.
If only I had taken the advice of others.
My printer has no ink, so I had to sketch the grids myself.
What a mess that looks !

I aso remember the first Forsyte Saga with Eric Porter .
I even remember watching the serial before that (Whiteoaks Chronicles "Jalna" with Jean Cadell as the old lady. Black and white TV of course.

Can't parse the last four letters of the themed C clue, although I think my answer must be right. Any hints?

Castafiore, I don’t have the puzzle to hand, but possibly Charles Lamb’s nom de plume?

rpchambe I too remember Forsyte Saga ! Talk of the master I have volumes 1&2 of his monkey puzzle books, as the late Simon Hoggart said “how can anything so fiendish be so much fun” . Making slow progress with this one not enjoying it as much as the Easter one!
