Another fairly straightforward puzzle today I thought. One of Everyman’s favourite grids which can only mean one thing ;-)

A couple of clues I thought a little convoluted, 15a for example. Also I can’t find support for that single letter abbreviation, although I think we’ve seen it before.

And I’m not sure I understand the ‘in more ways than one’ reference in 12a, but it’s probably something obvious.

Hi Jono, I agree it was one of the easier ones.
12a - ie in both a specific and generic sense...
I couldn't parse 24a - can you help?

24a is a double definition, for account think bank account.

Re 12, I now see Chambers supports the generic meaning specifically referencing plays. TILT!

Thanks Jono, I see that now, although the second definition doesn't seem quite right for this word.

I had as much trouble with this as with yesterday's Prize (which was on the easy side for Prizes).
Wrote in 12 based on one definition (first 3 words of clue), but couldn't see the presumed second definition. Google gives another possibility, but I've never heard of the work in question.
22 also took a long time to figure out.

I must admit I found this one of the easiest Everyman I have done…it was pretty much a write-in throughout and I only realised it was THAT grid after I’d finished. Having said that I thought some of the clues were well constructed, especially the anagrams.

First one I've solved completely for ages. Like others have no idea about 12a .

Either I am getting better or Everyman’s crosswords are getting easier as this one, like last week’s, took less than 20 mins to finish.

It took me a while to understand the double meaning of 12a.
I thought it was quite a clever clue
