Parsing of 37a is a bit of a mystery to me though.

Thanks Drxx. The use of 'out' not just being 'o' threw me. Now I'm puzzled as I don't need any more letters and the clue reads rather oddly without the obvious one to remove. Maybe it's just a bit clunky?
