Enjoyed this.
FOI was 1d which meant 6d could only be one thing. Then, like Brendan, I assumed there was a Beatles theme, but perhaps it’s more general, whether biblical, Beatles or the setter, as was mentioned earlier, but I note 8d and 14a are also thematic when you consider their full names.
Failing to parse 18d, tip appreciated ;-)

So much more enjoyable than last week. About 5 clues left.

Also struggling with 18d.

And if I have the right answer, is the end of the clue in 16d redundant?

Think of the title of Kerouac's best known book, add the word "to" and think about what happened to 6D.

Ok. It's finished. Actually 18d is a good clue but not sure when I'd have got it without that hint. Thanks Lucertola.

Really enjoyable this week, the fairly easy 4d helped unlock 6d and that really helped with the rest.

That we’re told 6d appears in three other answers was very helpful in solving 29ac - it became the only place to put the final 6d and I’d never heard of that definition of 29ac.

I was stuck in the SE, but it all fell out when I came back to it.

A bit puzzled by 11a. If the definition is just the first 2 letters, what do the next 3 contribute? Alternatively if the wordplay is the first letter, then 4 for "isn't", what are the other names doing?

Good puzzle - as usual, I seem to have difficulties with different clues to other people here. SW corner the only part left - any hints on 26a or 27d would be much appreciated.

11a first two letters of the first word (def) when compared with the Christian names of the other three, I think
