23a) Cantona is French + a flyer + strawberry?? = hobnob
26a) OK, got it now.
9a) I read the earlier hint. I can't soak + musical family to get biscuits.

9 isn't really very fair - old and obscure word for soak has been removed from italian biscuits

Thought I’d seen that 3 letter word recently. Turns out not so recently, but it was Brummie in 28,174.

Have 26, but still can’t parse it, even with your hint. Can you give a bit more without giving it away. Thanks
