Same here, Brendan. I can't see any significance other than "if this, then that" being indicated by two consecutive letters (which in most cases are A and B or X and Y). Perhaps I'm missing something too.

Nice puzzle, and like others 18 across stumped me for quite a while.

I'm all done too. Nice puzzle, on the easier side, and apart from a tiny nudge from malone on the 'lawyer', I completed it on my own, which is very unusual! Off to buy the i now.

Loge. It’s just a joke. If ...... then...... ? The answer to the question is then right in front of you.

Yes, I got the joke in the phrases but still can't really see where P and Q fit in, although a bit of research shows that "if P then Q" is used in logic proofs.

Unless it's a dreadful pun on having to wait for the toilet!

Loge. It was always P and Q in logic I seem to remember. I hadn’t seen the toilet pun, but well spotted! 😂😉

I'm either way off in my thinking on 22 or it's an obscure term. I figured "I'd be active" as an anagram, and sack as bed, but I can't make a word out of that.

I'm still none the wiser as to why the 3 letter word drawn in my grid has anything to do with "if P then Q"?

In the words of Denzel Washington "can someone explain it to me like I'm a six year old"?

Hi Brendan

Have you parsed each of the definitions of the words ‘entered with a section omitted‘?

Have to be 38 - 21 = 9 in total - and you should see a pattern once you have a couple or more...
