That is time up. I think we have 14 contributors which seems a good amount to me. The spectrum of clueing even more so, anagrams full and partial, insiders, homophones, name plays and double defs to mention some.
A great effort from everyone and I really don't want to pick a winner but have to. My favourites included the very topical buddy@4 with a great hidden, paulhabershon@18 with a clever and succinct entry, fieryjack@21 again for being topical and jimmygtal@25 because I was waiting for someone to come up with it.

The prize? I was considering flattened Caribbean islands, flooded New Orleans after Katrina or even a Bob Dylan ditty, but as suggested by paulhabershon the hurricane is of course Alex Higgins and this one of his great moments. Some even still say one of the clearances of all time.
