I nearly had the same problem. I typed "homophone" but my predictive text came up with a word with a completely different meaning!!

........when i wrote this in i didn't yet know the theme so took "comedians" to mean a profession rather than a film - i did wonder why it was capitalised though.

27d still baffles me, having given precise wordplay for the answer, why give extra wordplay for a word that isn’t the answer?? Or am I missing something?

Jono - I think the extra words are to confirm the spelling of the answer.

Thanks David, yes I’m sure that’s it, it just seems like overkill to me. Of course our protagonist also played Hamlet so there’s another connection!
