Thanks - great fun! You've made sure we're all on the way to getting our ' 5 A Day'. I was delighted to hear Ivan Apple was riding out the present crisis.

I did a post called 'Jigjag's Flight Of Fancy' on 31st March. I can't call it a thread as mine is the only post on it!

Jigjag wouldn`t be the first to be `Lost in France`. Apparently, under occupation, the `Resistance` turned the signposts round to confuse the Germans and no one`s bothered to turn them back.

I don`t do social media because I know I`ll only get upset at many of the comments! 😖

Lovely to see you back! We need all the treats we can get just now - and the wonders of cyberspace mean that we can all obey the 'safe distance' stuff.

Thank you for the posting on your thread. I am sorry but I didn’t see it until yesterday. It was very funny. You were right to deduce that I have been in isolation.

It was in mid-January that I heard about the illness in China and I thought that it would reach here very soon. I felt we would be safer in France, so took the family to Paris. But I found life difficult there. They wont do a full English breakfast and the markets were crowded. I couldn’t settle. They refuse to speak English, the signs are all wrong and there is no cricket. I sent you a postcard and I’m glad it reached you.

We came home and found that the policy seemed to be that we would build up “nerd immunity”, in which case I would be safe. Just to be sure, I turned off the computer as I believe they can easily get a virus. After the latest guidance, I have now been isolating like everyone else, but thought I would look at the forum. I was very pleased to find that it is unaffected.

glad to hear you are well and able to post again. I suppose you have been very busy. I hope you didn't mind me doing a piece about Ivan Napple. I have missed them.

Lovely to hear from you, lovely to hear more about your travels. (The postcard was good, but there's always the limitations of space.) I was quite excited about taking myself off to Paris - no cricket being the big attraction - but as we all can't move anywhere just now, I'll stick with my usual haunts, Hamelldaeme and Roam (full name; Roaming-thestreets).

I'm sure you had a lot of adjusting to do on your return. I loved your 'nerd immunity'. I can't understand why the government dropped that one so quickly, maybe the Cabinets got too many nerds already?

Grunger

I'm sure Jigjag was delighted to hear you were keeping the Ivan Napple link going.

Thanks. I am not missing football too much but I will certainly miss cricket. I suppose the only good thing is that the Hundred is off.

I read your discussions with grunger re Labour leadership. I was pleased KS was elected though Lisa Nando is very impressive. I cant take to RLB.
