I wonder if we're missing a trick here. The preamble says "Correct implementation of the theme...." after the grid has been filled. To me this means that the middle column must be reversed (i.e. the skirt blown up). As a result the second letter of the middle column from the top will be an 'R' rather than an 'H'. So my conclusion is that it is the left hand side period of time that must be highlighted.

Just a minor "problem". Should the name on the left be highlighted in a straight line beginning with the first letter of 15 across or should it be slightly curved beginning at the third letter? The stills I can find suggest the latter but the name on the right is in a straight line until the last two letters.
