Sorry, I'm not Malone but.....1ac is one with a fairly easy to spot misprint. You're then looking for a word for a hollow (reversed) inside a three letter word for to press (put on top) and you get a fa?

Oops, you wanted the answer - lipide. The trick with this one is fill in all the ordinary clues and then some of the misprinted, italicised and unclued become obvious. worth persevering, it's quite good.

Farr, it's worth sticking with this crossword - it was excellent. Post again if you find any particular clues troublesome.

Thanks for offer, Malone.
The answer to 26a would help and probably give me the first four words of the title. I also don't understand your reference to 'part of the title'

26 A. Lick note in person (4) The 'c' gets changed to an 'n', Link.
Bond - Bod, person + N, note.

You mentioned the 'first four words of the title' - it's got only four!
The whole title affects the italicised answers. Part of the title assists with the artist.

Oh, I see now what you meant, Farr! At least, we've given you two of the first four letters - I'm sure you'll soon find a few more.
