Was the last word settle? I read it as Seattle, hence my workings

I don' t know , Cerasus, I "saw" it as "settle" as that made sense!
I didn't read John's clue properly as he has put "seAttle" !
but I don't have the puzzle so cannot check.

P.S. There is a place called "Settle" in Yorkshire.
