Hi folks, a couple of loose ends I'd like confirmed if I've got them right or (quite correctly) put in my place otherwise.

pigale @ 4: if any = some, an anagram of "result" round "a" produces an extra "e".

dorrien @ 17: I'm assuming time here is "s" (second) rather than (the more conventional) "t" and turn is both anagrind and part definition.

ixion @ 20: As yet I haven't found tomales as an alternative spelling of tamales. Please advise.

Les @ 28: I'm assuming it's an anagram of the possessive "s" from doctor's + L (labour) + out + smear. However, while Chambers gives c = conservative it gives L = liberal only. Can you provide me with a reference please.

Due to unforeseen circumstances it may well be nearer 8 pm before I'll be in a position to post a result so feel free to submit further clues until then.
