My 8 year old has come home with a crossword on electricity as her home work this week and we are stuck on the last question, help!

3 across' clue is 'the name for a device that uses electricity'

9 letters we have a second letter of O and the last letter of T. We are confident we've got those right.

Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated thank you.

how did you get the "o" and "t" ?

Could the last letter be R ?

conductor

or capacitor ? (stores electricity)
