Tricky this week, I thought.

One left: 4d

Support high-flyer's stage (6)
?O?S?E?

I can find a sort of support, both as a noun (as you might find in a bed) and a verb, but can't see how the "high-flyer" fits in. I thought maybe it might be a name for the stage that a trapeze artist takes off from, but Chambers doesn't agree.

(I did wonder about LOBSTER, as in Arthur Daley's expression "The world is your lobster"!)

I had the same as you for 4d Chrise at first but couldn't make it work - didn't see the rocket connection either. On the aeronautical theme I'm stuck on my last one 19d...I have ?O?I?. Any clues please (not the answer)? Thanks.

Thanks Chrisg. I've just got it. I didn't look at it yesterday as we took advantage of the fine weather and had a day out to the Gower.

You are welcome. We are coming over to Wales for a few days - I might pop down to the Gower and take a look around
