I struggled with 13D too, but eventually got it. Meantime I am stuck with top right hand corner. in particular 6D Capitalist with girl putting on different costume (9)

"Capitalist" refers to someone living in a capital. The girl is rather short!

Chrise. Nice to hear from you. I am well . I haven't posted much recently but I do read the posts and get sneaky hints. SO thank you all for them!! Thanks also for hint about 9D. That gives me something to think about! Hope you enjoy yourvisit to Gower. I had a trip with my children and families to Dingle, South West Ireland.. I imagine it is a bit the same as Gower and indeed west of Scotland.

It's chrisg going to the Gower, mondrian (though I do know the area). We're recently back from a trip to Scotland, mainly on the lovely Arran.

Answer is a us president's surname which is also a place in ne England (or Ohio).the president's ist name was grover...
