Very clever and enjoyable today! Anyone else partaking?

yes, very enjoyable - but not quite sure about endgame.
do we just move the name (all letters) six places to the right?
Or is there something cleverer to do with the four 30s?

moving it the 6 places gives the required form of address downwards so I thinki that's it...
i think the ref to 4, 30s was just how he did "swing along" ...

yes, that's what I've done. Slightly tame ending though.

I'm wondering if I've gone wrong with 30 D - my answer has two, apparently equally valid, spellings. It's the fifth letter which can vary - so maybe I've led myself astray?

PS. I'm sorry that this will make no sense to anyone who doesn't have a copy of the crossword. 30 Down is an unclued answer, relevant to the theme.

yes 2 spellings possible but clue 20a uses the answer to 30d without the "E" (after endmost onE is taken away) ... so I went with the E spelling then the anagram works...

Thanks - I'd forgotten that 30 D had been mentioned in an earlier clue. I didn't think today's puzzle was as enjoyable (or as challenging) as recent ones.

Malone - do you do the Listener? Supposed to be an easy one so I'm just having a go!

I have come to this very late today due to snow...have got the transferred word and the 13 letters to be highlighted, but am stymied on a couple of straightforward clues.
