The "prayer" definition is wonderfully misleading. It refers to the process of praying rather than an actual prayer.

24 is an anagram - fairly obvious. Arachne always uses "she" to refer to an unspecified person, so that's not significant.

8 is one of my favourites. Think of Nancy as a place arther than a person (though she is obviously a relevant person too!)
