16 Lou, I think (Loud being 'flashy')?

19 A. Casual = Airy, 'Fairy' was woolly, and the back (letter) of 'of' (the 'f') has gone/faded.

...or hairy without last letter of 'which'?

I have Lou for 16d as I had L?U
For 19a I also have Airy but not sure why Joe, other than woolly could be Airy Fairy????

I somehow can't work out why it would be BLOWSY, but that is the only word that comes to my mind that fits.
