17d I found the most difficult.
The collar part of the clue refers to an edge/rim/collar that projects from something to give it support (7 letters)

THanks chrise and jazzgirl for your hints. Haven't got it yet but will keep trying. Also struggled for ages with 12A. GOT it now but cannot properly explain the answer.

I'm not sure that 12a quite works. I have an anagram of Debby-Lou around a 3 letter word that I suppose might mean "view".
