Hi, Paul! I've been collecting all the words used so far on Clueless & Peer Review, and discovered that for the ill-fated Weekend PR the words to be clued for nos. 2 to 7 are for some reason not accessible via the Search Machine. i suspect (since you founded it) that you can give me just those 5 words immediately, which would save me searching for them individually amongst the thousands of entries --- not the winning clues, just the words (or expressions) themselves. Then my list of over 400 (!) would be up-to-date again! Thank you in advance for your trouble!

number 2 was shown as weekend peer
3 as weekend peer
4 as weekend clue competition, same with 5 and 6

1. Just try, jazzy --- you might be more successful than you think, & practice makes perfect, etc!
2. By my count of words used in all three clue competitions on CS over a period exceeding 4 years, "we" have now used a grand total of 404 different
items, excluding the repetitions & near-repetitions! Just thought I'd let you know, now I've eventually got them all printed out in alphabetical order at last!
3. Who was aware of the origins of "rigmarole" (now used 3 times)? Fascinating --- I had no idea!

GK, relatively recently BBM2 posted a thread prior to hosting asking if anyone could check for previous usage. I responded and advised I kept an up to date simple spreadsheet listing words alphabetically and forwarded him a copy. Likewise syzygy who subsequently requested a copy. I could have provided you, and anyone else who submitted to "joint effort" via Les who I'm sure wouldn't have minded acting as gobetween.

Thanx, ginge - that would have saved me a lot of trouble! On the other hand, sense of achievement etc,
esp. after a day "repairing" my TV --- and I'm pretty useless really in practical matters!
Btw I presume you agree with my total of 418 words incl. Weekend PR. Quite some gems there --- I've suddenly thought of a good one to use "next time" that's (perhaps surprisingly) not been used before! Anyway thanx 4 the feedback!
