P.S. I'm too "illiterate" to know how a spreadsheet works---had to look it up in Chambers! Oh well, my old-fashioned list will do for the time being, I suppose!

Hi again GK, while the "current" Clueless, Peer Review and the Weekend Version are 218, 180 and 20 respectively totalling 418, I only total 417 as there have been numbering issues on the way. Peer Review jumped from 16 => 19 (-2), Clueless 176, 176, 178 (-) and I have included the word used in the deleted Clueless but number reused giving a total net effect of -1, 417. I note jazzy provided 6 numbers when you were only missing 5, perhaps you inadvertently duplicated 1 ?
The spreadsheet is a glorified list but it allows quick reordering by column alphabetically to easily allow repetition/previous usage to be checked.
Hope this helps.

Certainly no need to apologise jazzy, it was good of you to have trawled the back entries in the first place. Pity I didn't see this thread earlier and I could have saved you both a bit of time and effort.

I noticed the numbering errors, too, but I have no duplications other than the 14 made by the candidates, and I think after all you said, ginge, we have exactly the same ones actually! My list is alphabetical only, so I "only" have to squeeze in all those that come now, so that one day I'll have to put them all in proper print again. i already had everything up till last autumn (fall), so there wasn't too much to catch up on. The best part came when my wife seriously thought for some time she'd lost the list completely in "excel"!!! Just shows what you're reduced to when you live out here in the sticks (even if they're pleasant French sticks at 30 degrees plus.....................)!

In reply to your query re the origin of the word "rigmarole" I also had no idea until today. This is a good website which I have saved on my desktop.

Hi Ginge; Maybe it would be an idea to put an updated (and updatng if that is what you are doing) spreadsheet in dropbox (public) then post the link into the preamble for Clueless and PR, so anyone can click and check!

Hi paul, I believe it's syzygy's intention to publish (and regularly update it) it on the G-drive with open reading access in the near future.
