You got me, Jolan. Bulwark was the first word that came to mind but I looked online and found WKS as the abbreviation for Warwickshire; should have assumed though. I thought the other one began with two and did think of two-times just because of the length, but over here that only means to cheat on (be unfaithful). In both instances I ought to have checked Chambers. Shouldn't one always consult it?

I'm no purist Jolan, but it looks fine to me now. I just couldn't get into it today, I was a bit pushed for time and I need to settle down to tackle the devious ones. Ha ha. Thanks once again and all the best

The online thesaurus shows deceive as a synonym for kid. So I think it is OK.

Thanks Ari and Andy.
I'm my own worst critic but two-time is to deceive/double cross while kid is to deceive as a joke. If AB were around today, I doubt he's let me away with it. Therefore I must slap my own wrist, hard. Ouch! That hurt.

Thank you all for participating. See you next week.
Bless

Thanks Jazzy. Sure enough, my Chambers Thes shows "deceive" = .......... two-time, ....., kid .....

Still! I'm not happy with my usage.
