Ros, I saw Siegfried and Roy in Las Vegas. Brilliant.

Ok, Jazzgirl.
I hope it is OK if I go and cut the grass first?
Bad weather coming and I want it done before I batten down the hatches.

They were superb, weren't they, jazzgirl? I had never spent so much on tickets before (I think $72 dollars each in 1993! But maybe that was for 4), worth every cent.

Ros, I can't remember what we paid, ( it was 1981 ) but I have all the show programmes gathering dust upstairs.
It was very sad when Roy had the mauling accident which left him partly paralysed, but he and Siegfried are still sending out messages to their fans from the Secret Garden on facebook.

I saw David Copperfield in Las Vegas. Another very good illusionist.

Albie, It looks like we've visited the same places again.
I've only seen David Copperfield on TV.

I have just watched BGT.
My voting choice is,
1, Cor Glaenethwy
2, UDI
3, The Neales
4 Old Men Groovin'
I liked the Irish step dancers too, though I cannot stand Flatley!
I think the sets and scenery were great, and so were the backing singers and dancers.
Roll on BGT 2016!

I'm with you on voting for Cor Glaenethwy first, but liked Isaac Waddington second, followed by Old Men Groovin' and then the conjuror, Jamie whatever he was called. I also liked UDI.
But what did you think about Jamie's trick with the lemon? It was obvious along what lines it must have been done, but I couldn't see anything on the TV screen as it was so slick - although Jazzgirl's' clip showed it up clearly.
Do you think that Jules and Matisse should be disqualified as the 'stunt' dog was kept a secret ? I think it would have been ok if the audience / viewers had known
You were right, though, I enjoyed it all far more than I thought I would!
