Hello, Elle!
BGT voting was awful!
Useless "super fans"!
Twist and Pulse were two lads "dancing", but quite trendy and "poppy".
Not a patch on Diversity.
I like Stavros Flatley, but accept they are just good fun rather than talented.
They came second.
The two stand out acts for me were Kseniya, and Alexa and dogs.
"In no particular order", if I may quote Ant!
Those two acts were far, far, better than anything else.
Alexa did not even make the top three!
Kseniya did a tribute to Princess Diana and it was very good, and well received.
Chicago is live on BBC website now.
Brigid Kosgei going well, and very fast, she may slow later!

Hi, Rusty!
I am multi-tasking here....trying to watch the Marathon on the computer, finish the ST Cryptic crossword......and talk to both daughters in turn!
They have phoned more or less one after the other!
I have been talking for well over an hour!
Mo seems a tad further behind the leading group for comfort?
One minute slower?
Isn't that quite a lot?
I agree with you! The BGT voting was shocking!
I expected Kseniya to come first, with Alexa a close second - or possibly the other way around, as usually the public like children and animals!
Ah well!
Back to the Marathon.......Brigid Kosgei is still going well!
Come on, Mo!

My commentary is a bit odd?
The guys reporting on the action seem to be repeating themselves?
I must have a fault somewhere?

Hello, Elle!
Go easy on the multi-tasking.
You don't want to tire yourself out and be needing another holiday!
Yes, Mo is well back.
He did not challenge at all.
Great run and a world record for Brigid Kosgei!
Good to see Paula Radcliffe congratulate her at the finish.
I am not sure she knew who Paula was!
I think in BGT, Alexa and her wonderful dogs would have just shaded it for me, but Kseniya was wonderful, too!
My commentary is fine?
I don't know who Steve Cram's co-commentator is, though?

Hi, Rusty!
I am puzzled here?
According to my supposedly "live" commentary, Brigid Kosgei is still running.... and has about 5km to go?
Yet you say she's finished?

Hello, Elle!
Goodness knows what you are watching.
Brigid finished ages ago!
Broke Radcliffe's world record.

Hi, Rusty!
Lordy, I don't know!
Laurence Cherono has just won the Men's Race on my 'viewing'!
I am watching the BBC Sports Athletics website.......just the same as the link you have sent!
Only I think it just kept repeating itself in parts ...only that wasn't all that obvious to me at the time, as I was also on the telephone......
Well, I guess it doesn't matter...I've still seen everything , even some "bits" in duplicate!
Well done, Brigid!

Good evening, Elle!
Must have been the BBC website went wonky.
I switched to Red Button and it was fine!
Brigid ran a super race.
I thought she may have tired, but she came home strongly.
Impressive!
Very good to see a "proper" big city marathon after the farce at Doha!

Good evening, Rusty!
Well, it was certainly strange when the BBC commentators kept repeating some remarks over again!
It was as though part of the "live" transmission was being replayed.
I would probably have noticed it earlier, had I not also been talking to my daughters, so was distracted.
Yes, as you say, it was good to see a properly organised City Marathon.
Any word from Mo on what went wrong with his running plan?
Was he just having an "off" day?
I have just been chatting to my cousin.......catching up on all that has been happening since last we spoke a fortnight ago!
They too are having heavy rain.......it has certainly been a very miserable day here.

Hello, Elle!
I do not think Mo gave an interview after the race today.
He recorded his slowest marathon time.
Simply not good enough, today.
Maybe too old, now?
Though Bernard Lagat is 42 and yet did a super job yesterday as team captain of Kipchoge's pacemakers in Vienna.
I suppose in Mo's defence he has had a difficult week with the press, due to the Salazar /Nike Oregon Project connection.
He certainly was not at his best.
It was raining here but not too heavy.

Good morning, Rusty!
Another wet morning here......and distinctly chilly.
I think the dog was pleased to re-explore familiar territory and to meet up with all her friends in the park.
She was very muddy by the time we returned home!
I should like to watch Kipchoge's success in achieving his sub-two hour Marathon record......and see how good a job the pacemakers did.
I expect I can find it on YouTube?
I shall take a look shortly......
Paper work and a few phone calls are necessary this morning......
Otherwise the day is my own!
