Hello, Elle!
Hope you enjoy your day out, and the weather holds!
I read Coco played well.
A rising star, it looks like!
Madison did not play well at all.
Her opponent was a worthy winner.

Good afternoon, Rusty!
Thank you...and yes, we had a really great time!
As, I think, did all the children!
They race for points for their School Houses........not for individual glory......which is an excellent idea, as it encourages team spirit.
It has been quite a warm day...but the children were sensibly sat in the shade in between races.
I am now about to see what has been happening on the tennis stage whilst I have been out.......
I think I should be in time to see Rafa play his controversial match against Nick Kyrgios......
What sort of a day have you had?
Have you had chance to watch much tennis?

Hello, Elle!
Well done on your day out.
Your weather was better than mine.
Been overcast most of the day, so I stayed home.
Yes, I watched Sloane Stephens win her match, and after that it was mostly the golf from Ireland when I had the television on.
I've enjoyed it!
It is at Lahinch, in Clare, on the Wild Atlantic Way.
Fine weather there.

Elle, glad you made it back for Nadal and Kyrgios. There's a fair bit of tennis news today, so in case you miss it...

Bernard Tomic was fined his whole £45,000 first-round pay for his appalling match the other day. Serves him right!

Hi, Rusty!
I'm glad to hear that Sloane won....
And that you have been enjoying the golf!
I've had a quick catch up on some of the tennis results......
Roger was through easily , beating GB's Jay Clarke....who seems to be a promising young player.
Cameron Corrie, another Brit , also lost his match.
On the plus side, though, Jo Konta and Dan Evans are both through to the next round!
Well done, them!
Gilles Simon looks to be in trouble at the moment, and Serena Williams has lost the first set (!)
The big surprise to me, though, is Angie Kerber's defeat!
I am sorry to see her go...I like Angie!
Right, back to the Rafa v Kyrgios match!
What an objectionable young man Nick Kyrgios is!
A good player though....... and would be much better, too, if he dropped the "attitude"!
Oops! I've just realised that your son has probably arrived.......
Still, this will be there for you to read once he has gone home!

Thank you, Malone!
No, I hadn't seen that bit of news...Tomic well deserves the massive fine!

Update, Rusty!
Rafa Nadal won his match......
Nick Kryrgios can surely play excellent tennis when he settles down.
It was quite something to watch!
And Nadal was very gracious about his opponent , giving credit to his ability.
I think that alone proves who is the greater man.......
Andy Murray won too!
I shall have tennis "coming out of my ears" by the time Wimbledon is over!

Good morning, Rusty!
It is sunny and warm here, but definitely - thankfully - cooler than yesterday!
I hope all is well with you and yours?
I wasn't on here yesterday, because I had a bad migraine, and so consequently stayed away from computer and TV screens all day.
( I missed the tennis! )
But I have just seen this morning that you were not around either?
I hope this was not because of something being amiss at your end?
I am feeling okay now......so am shortly going for a walk with the dog........

Good morning, Elle!
Fine morning here!
I have read about migraines.
Nasty things, apparently.
Very occasionally, I get an ocular migraine (if that's the correct terminology).
Passes quickly, though, and there is no pain.
Good that you are over it, though!
I only saw a bit of Coco's match (I had the golf on.)
The Wimbledon crowd have certainly taken to her.
I hope to see Sloane Stephens' match today, but I don't think they know when it will start.
And today the Tour de France starts!
It is in Brussels today to commemorate Eddy Merckx's first Tour win, 50 years ago.
Eddy is Belgian and the greatest rider, ever.
Hope he is there at the finish.

Hi, Rusty!
I am back home now....
It has hotted up outside.....I think today will be nearer to yesterday's high of 28C, rather than the prophesied 22C!
According to the schedule I have before me, Sloane is to play Jo Konta at 2.15.....but then the times do not always run true.
Will this bring up a division of loyalties ? Whom will you support?
Harriet Dart (British) plays Ash Barty
Rafa is to play Jo - Wilfried Tsonga, and Roger to play Lucas Pouille, later this afternoon.
But I expect your attention might be taken up by the Tour de France, rather than the tennis?
Or you can channel hop?

Hello, Elle!
It is impossible to predict the times at Wimbledon.
Oh, the Tour is my priority, and there is a race at Sandown I'd like to see, and the golf!
Tricky with Sloane and Jo!
I like both of them, and what will be will be!
I hope to see them play, though.
Paddy P has Jo favourite.
Alesha Dixon was on Breakfast BBC the other day, and was saying that the old pensioner has got a record deal with Decca and Simon Cowell's company.
I wonder?!!
