Hi, Rusty!
I am glad that you had a good time with your granddaughters.
How nice that Miss O'H came with her cousin.
No, no old pensioners on the show!
The oldest child was fourteen, which is the upper age limit.
I have the French Open on at the moment......
Rafa is playing Dominic Thiem.....
Two games all.....
Are you watching?

Good evening, Elle!
Been a lovely day!
Yes, we had a nice time!
I did not watch the tennis.
Saved my eyes for the football, and there is a big bike race taking place in France.
I have the golf on now.
Though next week the golf will be more interesting for me.
The US Open at Pebble Beach!

Good evening, Rusty!
It has been a beautiful day here, too!
You have been busy watching sport....
Who won the football?
And what bike race were you watching?
You missed an excellent tennis Final between Rafa and Dominic Thiem.
Rafa won three sets to one...but the tennis from both players was on a very high level.
Rod Laver as usual presented the trophy.
And both Rafa and Dominic Thiem had nice comments to make about each other.
Good to hear!
I went out with the dog after the tennis finished.

Hello, Elle!
England beat Scotland in the Women's World Cup.
The bike race is the Criterium du Dauphine.
Today was the first stage. It finishes next Sunday.
I used to like Rod Laver, and Roy Emerson!
And Margaret Smith! She was a super player.

Hi, Rusty!
I have just been talking to my cousin for the past hour.
She phoned me very late today, as she had been to visit her daughter.
Does the bike race carry on every day then, until next Sunday?
You will enjoy following that.....
Yes, there used to be some excellent Australian tennis players at one time, didn't there?
The three you have already mentioned...plus Ken Rosewall and Lew Hoad,
John Newcombe and Tony Roche..... and then later, Lleyton Hewitt.
Those were the days!

Hello, Elle!
Yes, there is a stage each day until next Sunday, when it finishes at Champery in Switzerland.
It is an important race leading up to the Tour de France.
I hope to see some of it, anyway, especially the mountain stages.
How is your cousin doing?
All well in the North?

Hi, Rusty!
Yes, all is well up north, thank you.
My cousin has just returned from a week's holiday in St Anne's, near Blackpool.
She enjoyed the change of surroundings.
Now...surprise...I have received another communication from Outlook!
I wonder why their service engineers send their communications so late at night?
It is not encouraging...we appear to be back to Square One.....
It is a case of "let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth".......
This latest engineer (it is a different one each time!) does not appear to have read any of the previous exchanges, has totally the wrong end of the stick....and is talking rubbish!
Fortunately, my daughter is coming over next weekend, and will help me transfer everything to another email address.
I am so annoyed though!!!

Good morning, Elle!
A fine morning here!
I know of St Anne's golf courses.
The Open is played at Royal Lytham and St Anne's from time to time.
Speaking of golf, one of my favourites, Lexi Thompson, won at the weekend!
Outlook customer services appear to be very incompetent.
It may not be late at night wherever their service engineers are, though?
Have you replied to their latest message?
Escaping Outlook would be a good idea, I think?
Has your daughter any suggestions as to a new email client?

Good morning, Rusty!
A very wet day here...raincoat and wellies needed!
I had a very poggy dog to clean and dry when I arrived home from my walk.
Yes, I replied to Outlook's message.....
I did tell them (politely) that they were incompetent and ill-informed ..and queried whether they ever spoke to each other, or checked the previous correspondence for details!!
I am going to ring the Microsoft telephone number that I originally contacted (it was a staff member there, who told me that I needed to contact the service engineers) and see what they have to say about the situation......
After all, I do have a "Reference number" so they cannot plead ignorance of the matter.
My daughter will come over here next Sunday, so hopefully we shall sort out a viable alternative then.
She seems to favour Webmail (accessed on the Internet through a Web Browser) rather than using an email client?

Hello, Elle!
Fine day here, but we've had several downpours, too!
A good idea to 'phone Microsoft, quote the reference number, and ask if they can expedite your problem to someone who can fix it.
And, have you thought of emailing the CEO of Microsoft or Outlook?
That can bring results.
Obviously the CEO will have people reading his/her emails, but who knows.....nothing to lose!
I am certain your daughter knows the best solution for you, much better than me.
My needs are simple, and BT Mail and BlueMail are fine for me.
