Avery blustery morning, here!
We got blown along as we walked!
I have a list of jobs to do this morning.....some paper work to sort , letters to write, and parcels to wrap!
That should keep me busy until it is time to go babysitting this afternoon.....
Thank you belatedly for the rest of the parses....all is clear now.
Have you been to the cemetery this morning?

Rainy and windy up here!
I was at the cemetery at first light, and had the place to myself except for two lady doggie walkers.
Then had a couple of wee things to do, and visited Tesco, and I am home now.
Been tweaking my new 'phone and listening to a classical CD.
Vivaldi and Verdi, good stuff!
Not opened my paper yet!

Well done on delivering your wreath!
We were down at the Crematorium last week and sadly it was very busy....
People were lining up, awaiting the Funeral Services at the Chapel.....
I think the funerals are booked in at something like an average of twenty minute intervals .
Somehow it all seems so much sadder around Christmas time.
We are going there on Friday to lay our wreath.
I had forgotten about your getting your new phone yesterday!
Are you pleased with the model?
You will be "playing" with it all day, I suspect!
Our daughter has just rung to make sure we haven't forgotten we are babysitting this evening!
As though we would!
We are looking forward to seeing the children and hearing first hand all about their visit to Santa!

Christmas is a sad time of year for many folk, especially those who have lost someone in the last year.
My new 'phone is grand!
I have been tweaking it, mainly by adding individual ringtones and message notifications to my individual contacts.
I don't know anyone else who does this!
Your daughter is being sensible!
I have finished my puzzle.
More new words for me!

I did not even know that it is possible to have individual ring tones?
Your phone must surely be quite a complicated affair if it allows this feature?
I am happy with my "old" Nokia!
It serves my (mundane) purposes well......
I have had a reasonably profitable morning...a few letters written, and some presents wrapped....
More to do on both fronts tomorrow though.
It is becoming misty here...I did not see any mention of fog when I checked out the forecast.....
Luckily we do not have to drive all that far.....about forty minutes should do it, traffic permitting.
We are leaving very shortly.......
It will be late when we return home, so I'll catch up with you tomorrow.

Yes, it is perfectly possible to have individual ring and text message tones.
My last three phones have been Samsungs and all had that feature in them.
Download a "ringtones" app and away you go.
Some tunes I use are, "El Condor Pasa", " I'll Tell Me Ma", "Vivaldi's Spring", "La Bamba", "500 Miles", "Jambalaya", "Goodnight, Irene", etc., etc!
Just a bit of novelty, is all!

Very wet, very cold here........ugh!
A decidedly muddy dog after my morning walk!
Yes, the baby sitting went very well.
We all had a great time....
The children were already bathed and in their onesies when we arrived...
Their dad then left straightaway to go his Christmas outing - they were going bowling.
And - a lovely surprise - we didn't even have to cook dinner, as a Chinese takeaway had been ordered.
Very thoughtful..... and most delicious!
So all we had to do was play with the children......they were excited to tell us all about their visit to see Santa in his Grotto.
And then put them to bed at the appropriate time.
I'm going to wrap more presents this morning!
