We've had some rain, but so far no thunder.
I hadn't timed it well......I got wet, popping out to post a card.
I have done all bar four clues of the crossword.
Unfortunately , two of these interlock, which is not helping me.
But it's too soon yet, to ask for assistance .
I shall ponder a while.......inspiration may strike!
Younger daughter has passed yet another computing exam......these are all strings to her bow.......

It is surprising how often the answers jump out at you then.

My son was saying the rain yesterday was too heavy to drive in.
It was really torrential and impossible to see through the windscreen.

I envy you the sunshine! It is very dark here......and I hear faint rumblings....
I am awaiting a delivery from the local pet shop.
They provide a free delivery service - no matter the cost of what one is buying - which is great when it is heavy stuff.
I buy the cat litter in big bags and in bulk.
Yes, I, too, fear that the third egg may not hatch now.....
The Rangers have been saying that, so long as Lassie remains sitting on it , there is still a chance....
But for the first time, I just saw Lassie sitting on the edge of the nest; both chicks were sitting up looking around, and the third egg lay alone in solitary splendour......no longer apparently being incubated?
Not a good sign.......
I must think about organising dinner......

Just had a surprise visit from Miss O and Miss La Bamba.
They said they were taking their Dad's place!
They brought choc ices!
So, that made my day!

I watched the chicks being fed just now and can't see the egg anywhere. Has it been pushed out? Not worried, maybe 2 is enough!
Lucky you, rusty. I love choc ices!

Only 2 out of 3 hatched last year, as I remember.

Miss O got a bottle of champagne at work today.
It was her last day as a probationary teacher.
She is the real deal now!
Just watched BGT.
I liked Amy, Jack and Dad, Sascha, and DVJ.
I think DVJ will have to raise their game to match Diversity though.
