Well, that was a pleasing result, wasn't it?
I am delighted for both acts!
And the runner up did well, too.
I am not great on comedians , but he had a skilful patter.....and was very gracious in defeat.
But well done, Jack and Tim...and DVJ!
And well done, Ashley......the young ones did him proud!

Wow!
I had previously only seen Diversity perform once......when the dance troupe was invited back on a previous BGT show.
I was blown away by this first audition!
And they are all just regular guys.....
Very impressive , even right back in its early stages!

I hope Father Ray does well tomorrow.

I remember when Diversity won, there was another great dance group called Flawless in that series, too.
Diversity had the edge on them though and pipped Susan Boyle in the final.
Yes, they are all lovely lads and Ashley Banjo is a real gent, I think.
Wonder if they will perform at the final?

All that was long before I started watching the programme!
I have heard of Susan Boyle.....although I have never heard her sing.
Actually, Rusty , I should be surprised if Diversity (Senior) has been asked to perform in the Final.....
Because the powers- that- be must have known that there was a very good chance of DVJ getting through to the Final........so perhaps it would hardly be "suitable" for Diversity itself to perform in the same show?
Am I out on a limb here...or would you agree?

Susan Boyle is a singer.
A very good one, and was tipped to win by the "experts", but Diversity won that year.
Susan has had a good career ever since.
I do not know if Diversity are still performing, or if they have been asked to appear on the Sunday final.
I do not see why not?
Everyone knows DVJ has been choreographed by Ashley Banjo, it is no secret.
Personally, I would like to see them again, and others, like Paul Potts.
Anyway, BGT is Simon Cowell's show, and if he wants Diversity on, they will be on!

Piers Morgan thought they were better than Diversity.

A dullish day.....but thankfully, no thunderstorms are forecast!
No early morning walk today, as I am taking the dog to the groomers in an hour.
She will not be happy about that!
Her first priority afterwards will be to find something smelly in which to roll!!
"Flawless" was excellent.
Do you know if the group's career took off after that audition?
I think , though, that I prefer "Diversity"......there is just something about them.....
And I have my fingers crossed for DVJ!

Elle- even though I think singing should be confined to consenting adults in private I actually watched Susan Boyle's song on BGT or one of those. I remember being amazed by such power (not just volume!). I don't think she is a very happy person, but she could/can certainly sing

Yes, Flawless are still performing.
So, too, Diversity.
Their show "Ignite" is scheduled to tour in late summer.
I agree with you regarding DVJ.
I like to see the young ones getting on.
I have to go and see the cobbler today.
One of Miss LB's pals was so impressed with the repair on La Bamba's bag that she asked her if her granddad could ask the cobbler to repair her bag!
Wonder if that was the reason I got a choc ice!
