Hello, Elle!
You probably told me but my memory can be lax.
Fingers crossed she is successful!
I've read through the Dear Setters thread.
I fully agreed with the first post, but it hasn't turned out the way I hoped.
No idea why the White Rose got into the debate!
Best if I say no more....!
I still have the book on Sophie, her brother, and friends.
One to keep!
My haddock was fine.
I had boiled tatties with it.

Hello, Pigale!
I had a reply from Christy at the the Loch saying the nestcam was working.
I pointed out that the light conditions did not change on the picture no matter the time of day.
What was showing was filmed at night.
Just had a look and it appears to have been fixed.
The light was of a normal afternoon.
So...hope that is it fixed now.
Christy says the squirrelcam is still off!

Hi, Rusty!
I have had a bite to eat.... sausages and a jacket potato.
It was all that appealed to me!
I have really lost my appetite during this bug!
But I will admit to feeling a tad improved this afternoon....I am still very tired though.
I am doing a tremendous amount of reading - or rather, re-reading, as I have run out of "fresh" material!
No word yet from our daughter....but I expect by the time she got home, she has had to feed the family and get the boys ready for bed....... and the family will be wanting to know all that has gone on.....
Probably, we shall hear all about it tomorrow.

Good evening, Elle!
Seems to be some bad bug you have got!
Plenty rest and you will be fine!
My son was here earlier.
Grand seeing him.
I have been abrowsing on YouTube.
This is a clip of a favourite musician of mine, the ever smiling Sharon Shannon, and Mundy, doing "Galway Girl".
If this does not make your toes tap and take the floor, you are in a bad way....!

Hi, Rusty!
Thank, you, Rusty, that was very uplifting!
Just the thing to cheer me up........ and get my toes tapping!
I see 15,000 people turned out to the event!
And my daughter did ring!
She got the boys ready for bed and then she called us.
She thought that the individual forty minute interview went well.
So that was good.
But after that, she had to take part in a group activity - four candidates discussing two interwoven topics - and being observed, whilst talking.
She said it was hard to judge just what the purpose was...and quite what was required.
She felt she could not say how this went?
I think she will hear as to whether her application is successful, within about two weeks.
Right, time for a coffee.......and maybe a shortie bikkie.....

Hello, Elle!
I thought that would cheer you!
Your daughter seemed to get on well.
This group activity thingy may be to find out who has leadership qualities?
It is used fairly regularly.
Hope she gets on fine!
Meanwhile...Colin and Annette are still jiving!

Hello Elle and Rusty,

I am glad that there seems to be a hint of improvement in your
health Elle - Is your husband following in your steps, or it may
take longer, because of his normal health problems. Great that
you actually ate something!

Thank you Rusty for the info, I did have a look earlier on and yes,
I could see the difference with last night as far as the Loch is
concerned - but as you said, the squirrel webcam does not seem
to be working yet.

I had a busy day (for me!), but succeeded in getting everything
done - and when I left the hairdresser, there was blue sky and
the sun was shining! I does wonders to the morale;
The weather has finally decided to be more normal for the season
and it is now minus 1C, and threats of snow over the week-end.
What a sudden change!

Hello, Pigale!
Glad you had a good day!
Our temperature is dropping, too.
They appear to have the nestcam working properly again.
It is a moonlit Loch tonight!
When the squirrelcam is working it is not a very good quality picture anyway.

Hi, Rusty!
Another video to get my feet atapping!
You are certainly keeping me active!
Annette and Colin do get around, don't they?
I am now away to my bed........ I need to sleep!
Night......

You've only just caught me, Pigale...I am off to bed!
I think we are both slowly improving, thank you!

Good morning, Rusty!
Another lovely day here - the dog enjoyed her run amid blue skies and sunshine....but the frost lay heavy on the ground and it is bitterly cold!
How is it in your neck of the woods?
Right, now for the exciting news.....!
My daughter has phoned to say that she has been offered a place on the Counselling Course to do her Master's Degree!
Isn't that great!
They must be really keen to have her to notify her so promptly....the candidates had expected to find out in about a fortnight.
We are all over the moon for her!
It will involve a lot of work...and organising of child care etc...as although it is only one day a week's attendance at the University, there will be an additional two days' work involved in such as placements, studying, projects etc.
So basically a three day week...... all to start this coming September!
We can always help out in the school holidays by having the boys to stay with us for part of the time.......
(This is the best news I could have to make me feel better!!!!!)

Good afternoon, Elle!
It is a smashing day here, too!
But, the gritters are out.....
Ice and snow forecast.
I was out earlier and it is cold but not bitterly so, to me, anyway.
That is very welcome news for you all regarding your daughter's success!
Yes, they sure were fast telling her.
Making sure they did not lose her?
Yes, good news should buck up your spirits and your husband's!
She has done very well!
You should have a coffee and a sticky bun to celebrate!
