Good morning, Rusty!
We have a beautiful day here - blue sky bright sunshine.........and enough frost to equate dry dog!
She has just come back from her walk with my friend, and has required minimal cleaning!
Yes, our trams are quite streamlined!
I think I have explained that they run on disused railway lines?
Google Croydon trams and look at Wikipedia.
There are some nice pictures of the trams , too!
A bright green colour!

Good morning, Elle!
Cold but dry here.
To get very cold at the weekend.
I had a look at your trams.
They are nothing like the old boneshakers of my youth!
They look very smart indeed!
Are you and your husband getting over the bug?

Good morning, Pigale!
I had a look at the Loch site just now.
Still showing the same video as last night.
It is certainly not a "live" webcam!

Hi, Rusty!
Yes, the trams are quite something, aren' t they?
Their advent has greatly improved our public transport.
Quick and clean!
Yes, I think we are improving a little...... thank you for asking.
I do feel that my husband is somewhat better than he was.......although the bug has taken a lot out of him.
It will take time to regain the ground lost.
But he is sleeping a lot, which will surely help?
I might try a walk round the block this afternoon!
I'm still coughing and spluttering........ but feeling headachey and caged in!
A bit of fresh air, if I am well wrapped up, might help!
What are you up to , today?

Hello, Elle!
As a layman my guess would be that sleep is very beneficial when recovering from an illness.
The body is exhausted from battling bugs.
Sleep should aid recovery, I think.
Yes, your trams are smashing!
I have finished a couple of chores and no plans now.
Though I may go for a walk.
May as well take advantage of the fine weather before the temperature drops later in the week.

Hi, Rusty!
I have been debating whether or not I should hoover.....I have decided it requires too much energy!
I would be better employed in making a coffee!
All my actions taken this week have been negatives......cancelling arrangements to go out with friends; rescheduling dentists appointments........
It will be good to be back on track eventually!
Our sunshine is fast disappearing and the sky is darkening.....I shall delay walking down the street till tomorrow!
Now for that coffee.......
Yes, enjoy your walk! that sounds like a good idea!

Hello, Elle!
It is a fine cold day here!
I went for a briskish walk and am home for the day now.
Puzzle complete.
One or two new words for me, but a first class puzzle!
I shall have a look around YouTube later.

HI, Rusty!
I am glad that you enjoyed your walk!
I went for a short stroll round the garden with the dog...it was good to get a breath of fresh air!
I feel much the better for it... I have been cooped up indoors for too long!
We're both getting there...... albeit slowly!
My elder daughter has her interview for her Master's Counselling Course today.
I hope all goes well for her.
She has said that she will ring later to let us know how it went, although I doubt she will hear the results for some time.
Fingers crossed anyway!

Hello, Elle,
Yes, it does you good to get out into fresh air!
Hope you daughter does well at interview!
Could you tell me what a Master's Counselling Course is?
I am sure she shall ring you.
She may have an idea of how it went?
I see on the "Dear Setters" thread that the White Rose is mentioned.
It's 75 years ago this month that Sophie Scholl and the others were executed.
I am off to make my tea.
I have a haddock and am looking forward to it!

Hi, Rusty!
Our daughter has been studying to become a Counsellor for several years at a college local to where she lives.
(Sorry, I thought I had already told you this........?)
This has been a one day a week course.
She now has two years of study remaining.
If she continues at the college, she will gain a Diploma.
If she switches to the University course and continues the course as a Master's Degree, she will end up with a much better qualification, thereby enabling her to have better career prospects.
A Master's degree follows on from the Bachelors.
It is many years now since our daughter did her first degree - a B.Sc in Computer Science.
If she succeeds in doing the Master's, she can go on to do a Ph.D., which she is hoping to do.
It will all depend whether she is accepted as a somewhat "mature" student!
I haven't bothered to plough through all that guff on the "Dear Setters" thread....too wearying for me by far!
I well remember all about Sophie Scholl though!
Yes, enjoy your haddock! I do not know what I fancy to eat!
